the thrill of the chase
Foxhunting is a romantic sport. "Casual," for most, means a suit jacket, vest and tie. The hounds are musical; the galloping horses majestic. Though it is a tradition that may be tested by new generations and developing land, for now, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, foxhunting is thriving. Hunt clubs in the area keep it alive and promise to do so until they die.
